How common is it to have a negative skin prick test, but go onto fail the food challenge?

DS tested negative to milk allergy today, which I should be delighted about, but i don't believe it. He's going to have a milk challenge in a few weeks. Is it quite common for a negative skin prick test to be wrong?

I guess it is a step forward, but it's a bit marred by DS testing positive to peanut allergy for the first time Sad.

That's great babybarrister.

I've been reading through the archives and it seems quite common to fail a food challenge after a negative skin prick, so feeling a bit gloomy about the prospects of him passing it.
