Shock Hi! All Persil non-bio liquid users. Has anyone noticed that they have changed the perfume used in this product recently.(August 2010- With no warning on the packaging! Is that allowed? and bad considering it is aimed washing for babies) Yesterday my daughter 3yrs old woke up screaming - reason a really bad allergic reaction to pjs washed in the new stuff. Big red blotches all over her legs. Just wanted to warn other mums out there. Can anyone suggest any suitable alternatives for excema suffers? I use Ecover products, but haven't tried them for washing.

Give the Ecover a whirl or there's Surcare - it's in most supermarkets

They also do a fabric softner

Surcare for our eczema ridden family. Also always an extra rinse, and never any fabric conditioner (stays on the fabric so can irritate).

The persil and ariel non bio stuff has always caused huge problems for us.

Hello

Have a look at www.ecoshopkent.co.uk for a variety of eco friendly laundry products, the washing powder has the ingredients listed so you know what your buying, plus other alternatives such as soapnuts and the biowashball. hth

on the flipside Persil non bio liquid has been a godsend to us having had bad experiences with surcare (which made us all itch!) and fairy non bio.

Just shows that it comes down to trying each one til you find something that suits.... grr
