I don't know who she is! But lovely story and a gorgeous little family!

spokette · 16/01/2008 10:05

That story has brought tears to my eyes. I'm so happy for her and her children are absolutely beautiful.

chrissnow · 16/01/2008 10:18

blimey I'm actually crying. It's so nice to see people in the media (or anywhere for that matter) truly happy.
And they are beautiful.

Umlellala · 16/01/2008 10:24

me too! (crying that is)

TodayToday · 16/01/2008 10:32

Awww - brought tears to my eyes too.

chipmonkey · 16/01/2008 10:33

In floods here as well! What an utterly perfect ending for Sinitta!

stepfordwife · 16/01/2008 12:09

lovely story, especially how the brother and sister were brought together.
love the image of them meeting for the first time, putting their heads together and staring into each other's eyes.
and, yes, very cute.

happystory · 16/01/2008 12:16

what a lot she's been through.

a lovely story.

HonoriaGlossop · 16/01/2008 13:03

blimey. I don't normally get soppy over celebrity articles but - as you say stepford, that bit about the siblings meeting for the first time - gulp!

And the children look as if they were actually designed for her - spooky!

I read about this a few weeks ago in a different newspaper and I was really moved. She had had so many attempts at IVF and surrogacy, which I guess cost a lot of money. The she simply rings upon her local adoption agency giving her married name and this happens. They are all very lucky to have found each other.

Hulababy · 16/01/2008 14:24

How lovely

SoupDragon · 16/01/2008 14:40

Blimey she went through hell didn't she? What a lovely end to the story though

the nice thing is that (apart from the surrogate) I think her story is quite
representative of many people who adopt. She got matched much more quickly than the norm, I would guess because of her colour, we need many more non-white adopters in this country.

headintheclouds · 03/02/2008 21:19

I have cried reading this story-its wonderful!! It is so like my own story-we adopted 2 at once nearly 4 yrs ago now-our son was 3 and his little sister 6 months.
And Kewcumber we got matched fairly quickley (5 months after being approved). Theres not a day goes by that I dont realise how lucky I am. Our children are fabulous and I really can relate to Sinnitta with that feeling of not believing that after so long I was a Mum,and kept thinking the bubble would burst and someone would take them away again.
Its wonderful news and I really wish her and her family a great life together.

i am weeping too - what a lovely wonderful story, i just feel so happy for those beautiful children that they will be brought up by parents who will absolutely treasure them.
