Books about funnelling and the early stages of placement

My wife an I are currently being assessed, and are at the of stage 2. We are doing lots of reading to help prepare. At the moment most of the books are about therapeutic parenting, which have been very interesting (and eye-opening), but I'd be interested to read something that specifically goes through funnelling. Does anyone have any useful resources?

What have you already read, about therapeutic parenting, and what have you been told about funnelling?

Preparation for Adoption is good by Julia Davis if youve not read that already its really good.

Thank you both for the responses. I have read Preparing for Adoption. It seems to me to be quite good in terms of things like making sure you've got the same washing powder as FCs, and other stuff like that.

In terms of therapeutic parenting, I've read a couple of books by Sarah Naish and something by Sally Donovan. I think there are others, but I can't remember!

Funnelling is almost entirely something I've come across from reading on here. So I have learned loads from that, but nothing formal that I can recall.

Have a look here:

Quite a few of the links don't work anymore, but the IrishTimes ones does and you can get the Holly van Goulden "Real Parents, Real Children" book.

That looks brilliant! Thank you!
