This is an amazing story - hope they will meet up and go back one day

the journo (same one for R4 prog and BBC article I think) is an adoptive parent and so she got unusual access to the story - generally overseas adoptive parents tell the media to bog off as it gets such bad press.

No also missed it - knew it was on but ended up helping friend who's husband had just left her and then completely forgot. I also can't find it on Listen Again - the title was China Girl wasn't it???
Yes Emily Buchanan has adopted - I think from Nepal but maybe wrong...... What an amazing story though. Our children have always shown more interest in birth sibs than birth parents - don't know anything about either though
