I know I've been dripping this in across the board but terrified of jinxing as ADM yet to sign off but LO! Panel did say yes
2 months short of 4 years into the adoption process and we are officially (pending, yep) matched and due to start intros in three weeks time
I have been dying to tell all of you amazing, supportive people but didn't want to say anything too early...but I'm bursting!
Thank you so so much for your PMs, gifts and care over these 4 years of, well, poop.
I will stop gushing now.

Keep wondering what I've forgotten, I have read so, so many threads about this stage over the years and now it's finally happening am a bit panicked.
Intros are 150 miles away so also had to prep BD's school/clubs stuff and the house for the relatives coming to look after her.
Toy from photo book is in my handbag. Bland cheapo hotel awaits us (pub dinners all week I guess, though the LA only funds breakfast...).

Will be thinking of you tomorrow

Remember to take some snacks for the hotel, in case you are hungry at random times.

You won't care about the quality of the dinner as you will be so exhausted.

Well, you know, it's 30'C in the kitchen and BD is struggling with the whole sharing her parents thing. I'll just melt quietly over here.

AD is happily painting her hand and printing on paper (and the floor). Apart from bedtimes she's quite relaxed here.
