Our adopted dc have other siblings including a younger baby who is currently looking being considered for a match as we understand it. I'm sorting through outgrown toys/ clothes which tbh have hardly been used due to over shopping when linked for our children and growth spurts. I suddenly wondered if before I re-home the clothes/ toy's should I keep some aside that reflect the gender of the baby to potentially pass on to the adoptive family of the sibling? My children have not met their sibling but may soon and I wondered if it would be nice for their younger sibling to get a few toys or clothes that had been used by their older siblings? Or is it likely their new family would not be keen/ interested?
I know I would have liked this for my dc and kept any small well loved items in their fairly empty memory box's but that might just be me.
How would other adopters feel about items passed from an older sibling from another adoptive family?
Thoughts? :-) Thanks
