I kindly invited Devora and Hels to my 50th party as they both live close'ish to me and hadn't met. They seemed to quite like each other and I'm very hopeful that they will take their relationship onto the next level.

I am now officially the adoption matchmaker. I am considering setting up in business.

One of DS's closest friends in on the autistic spectrum and needs quite a bit of support in school.

One of the TA's was praising DS with me there making a big point of saying "How kind DS was to Fred and how when Fred refused to go to after school rugby it was only DS who managed to persuade him when all the TA's and teacher had failed"

DS's response? Puzzled look then "But he's my friend, thats what friends do"

Kristina how is your DD 15? surely she is about 12 (as is Maryz's)

I know, kew, she has just turned 15 and she's in the middle of ( the equivalent of ) her mock GCSEs . Scary

So far we have only had normal adolescent sulks, door slams and tantrums. We keep waiting for the major crisis to hit ......

Well it's only a date if he turns up Lilka so don;t hold your breath (he lives nearly as far away as Kristina!). I did wash my hair tonight though just in case.

I saw a great quote this week - no idea where it came from. Something along the lines of:

"If your date turns out to be wearing matching underwear, it wasn't you who decided to have sex, mate" thought it was very funny

Oh yikes that dress can only be worn with men around if I'm standing up. Am wearing black dress somewhat similar but slightly less... flappy.

Oh I so wish that were true Devora, I hardly think a handful of dates in the past 8 years is 'hot stuff'!

To be honest I'm not sure DS could cope with me dating more than once a year. I can't cope with it either. I lost my dress earlier (flung under the bed with everything else) and had to face the unthinkable possibility of date with bosom enhancing dress Panic over. Wearing it with scarf for business meeting first.

Date "without" bosom enhancing dress... Just thought there are people from school on MN and whilst I don't think they stalk me, it would cause much amusement when my mum brings DS to school in the morning

I ended up marrying my first love after a short break of several years so you never know.
