Good London or greater London based court to use when applying for the adoption order?

We had our one month review at the end of last week and it went extremely well. We are very keen to apply for the adoption order asap and the Independent Reviewing officer said they are very happy for us to proceed as soon as the legal wait of 10 or 12? weeks from when the children officially moved in is up and the sw's are supportive of us applying. We are very happy and glad that our sw visits have also been reduced to monthly. I am looking recommendations of a good court to apply to in greater London as we would like one some distance from where we live. Any info or recommendations would be gratefully received. Thanks

We had to use the Family COurt in High Holborn as we were limited to which courts we could use as it was an intercountry adoption initially. I'm not sure what would make one court better than another. IME it the judge that is more or less clued up and you don;t get a choice about it.

Nice patisserie across the road though and easy to get to by tube if that helps!

It's useful to apply for the adoption order in the court that dealt with the care proceedings even if this is some distance away. You can then ask for your celebration hearing to be at which ever court you want.

High holborn here too. We didn't have a choice.

Get you SW to find out which courts have the shortest wait to be listed ATM - that's what made ours the "best"
