We are all old Miracle. Don;t shock us too much, you may be performing CPR or alternatively we'll be knitting you a nice little cardi to keep you warm.

Polkadotpatty · 02/04/2014 13:07

Except I would forget what I was knitting halfway through Smile

I may well be "very noticeable" due to tripping over something and landing in an ungainly heap. Still, it's a bit of free entertainment for you all.

What about FamiliesShareGerms?

Just tidying up for Devora (particularly as she left herself off......)

If you can't make it cross yourself out or add yourself and repost if you want to come.

OurMiracle1106 · 02/04/2014 13:41

Unless you're as old as my dad would have been this year (84) I don't think your old and always remember your only as young as the man you feel!

Kewcumber · 02/04/2014 13:46

Oh good that means I'm still 40...

OurMiracle1106 · 02/04/2014 13:54

so your still younger than my mum was when she had me! (she was 41, my dad 58)

OneOfOurLilkasIsMissing · 02/04/2014 14:07

Just here to laugh at the headwear Grin Grin

OneOfOurLilkasIsMissing · 02/04/2014 14:08

Ah Kristina, that balaclava is anyone's colour, you'd look absolutely gorgeous in it

KristinaM · 02/04/2014 14:17

I'm a cool colour person Lilka. I would indeed look lovely in it, but only in blue, red or purple. Perhaps a cool pink?

Shame I can't knit

Just popped on to say hello to lilka - we are nearly neighbours.

Anyone else up in the North?

Have a great night :)

OneOfOurLilkasIsMissing · 02/04/2014 15:12

Hi Tulips Smile

North East as well? Neighbouring county to me?

OneOfOurLilkasIsMissing · 02/04/2014 15:13

DD2 can knit

She can make you a cute bobbly rainbow striped thing which is shaped almost, but not quite, entirely unlike a balaclava

OurMiracle1106 · 02/04/2014 16:02

I currently have my best friends little girl (she's 4) we've been ball pool, kfc for lunch (as a treat) and now we are painting ourselves gnomes and Easter eggs. She has decided she likes my house. Mummy came back to mine earlier and asked if I could have her a little longer to visit a friend in hospital (hospital is two bus stops from my house) and she's now left.

I miss doing these things with our miracle.

Im haBing great fun!!!

TulipsfromAmsterdam · 02/04/2014 16:03

Same county Lilka, close to the seaside :)

I would love to come, but I live up North, and it is the week before our matching panel (so I still feel like an imposter). I'm also extremely unglamorous and actually own a balaclava, although, to be fair, it's not yellow and I have never worn it out.

HappySunflower · 02/04/2014 21:20

I'm an hour and a half from London, so the journey is a little too long plus would cost me a small fortune in babysitting fees!

Hope you all have a lovely time- if ever any of you fancy meeting up with children, let me know.... Though I'd much prefer a grown up night out with wine and chatting......!

MrsBW · 02/04/2014 21:28

iamabit

It'll be about a week before our matching panel too!!

I never thought about being an imposter... I just decided to barge in Grin oops!!

P.S. is anyone thinking about bringing their DH/DP or is this a girls' night?

Meita · 02/04/2014 21:30

I will over a week before panel, but that's approval panel, so I win! [in this who is the worst impostor contest]

MrsBW · 02/04/2014 21:32

Meita Grin

KristinaM · 03/04/2014 00:05

No DPs I think. Even if your DP is a girl

OP posts:
Devora · 03/04/2014 00:06

I'm not bringing my dp. We are still a babysitter-free zone, so we only fly solo.

MrsBW · 05/04/2014 17:10

Good stuff!

Looking forward to it.

OurMiracle1106 · 14/04/2014 19:17

I was just wondering whether a time/location had been arranged yet please.

And to ask roughly how much money I need to put away.

Devora · 14/04/2014 20:19

Ah, I'm sorry. I was in charge, but it now looks as though I CAN'T COME (I am not amused: dp, looking at you).

But I will follow up the suggestions I've received and try to find and book somewhere; then will hand over to someone else.

OurMiracle - this is London, gel, best sell your granny now. (But I will try to find somewhere affordable.)
