So you want somewhere quiet in central London, maybe in some fields with a few sheep?

Or cows or horses even Grin horses preferred. I worked as a stable girl so I can deal with horses and associated smells/mud

Holland Park was my local green space until dd1 was 4yo. She saw peacocks every single day of her early childhood. Met her first cat at the age of 3. Poor little London baby.

Hey we have flocks of green parakeets where me and kew live. It's well exotic.

Devora · 26/03/2014 22:29

But seriously, I'll have a think about where to meet. Somewhere central. And quiet. With good food. That doesn't cost too much. [drums fingers, stares vacantly into the middle distance.]

Is this still on? Seeing if I can come.... Any venue/times yet?

OurMiracle1106 · 31/03/2014 12:41

Im hoping so. But Nope no venue or time yet (waits for a venue n time)

We've had a suggestion of Brasserie Zeidel, just off Piccadilly [thanks redfish!]. I've never been but on the website it looks like its central and reasonably priced, so ticking lots of boxes.

Not sure where Kristina is staying, but if it's South Ken we could also do Le Pain Quotidien in South Ken. Or somewhere on the South Bank? But I think I remember that some may be heading in from the north, in which case Piccadilly may be fairest as strictly central.

Thoughts?

I'm happy to organise and book a venue if people can confirm to me if they are coming, and what locations they can easily access.

I am negotiating permission to skip a family birthday, but it's looking good so hoping to gatecrash come along. South Ken or south bank both easy for me if they suit others. Thanks v v much for grappling with trying to herd us into one general area Devora.

Right Polka, you're on the list. Family birthdays can wait - it's not every day you can hear the latest instalment of Kew's lovelife, or gaze in wonder at the Glamour that is Kristina.

Hi all, still hoping to come, I'm desperate for some advice/input on a very recent adoption development.

Only prob is there is a chance dh will be away that weekend preparing for a big piece of work in May. I really am not trying to be difficult or mysterious, but things are all slightly up in the air at the mo due to dh's work schedule.

KristinaM I no longer have your number (bag stolen last year, I stupidly hadn't backed up numbers, lost yours and Kew's) but if you still have mine I would be so grateful for a call. I feel I cannot post here at the mo.

Cheers all
