I'm an experienced teacher of 20 years, mostly Year 3/4 but experience across all of primary phase.
Tomorrow I start a new job - 2.5 days a week in Y6.
Friday I have an interview for Masters in Children and YP counselling. Year 1 requires 2 days a week (one in uni, one home study). Year 2 requires 2.5 days inc placement. I have been desperate to do this course for many years.
Am I taking on too much?
Can't afford to drop teaching hours as rent to pay etc!
Also 3 kids - 4, 14 and 17.
Supportive husband.

I think if you are really motivated and organised you can do it and it sounds like you are both. In terms of support - as a parent grad student dh used to look after our toddler on a Saturday so I could use it as a study day - that really helped. So if you could have some kind of arrangement like that as a bit extra - it might help.
