prospective graduate student from Germany looking for a room in Dublin

Hi everyone,

this might be a little off topic but this platform was recommended to me by a friend and active mum on mumsnet.com so I thought I'd give it a go!
I am a 25 year old female prospective graduate student from Germany planning to move to Dublin in September for my masters. I got accepted at UCD for the M.A. Gender, Politics and International Relations and would love to pursue the program starting this September. Unfortunately I've yet to find a suitable accommodation in Dublin to rent from September 2023 til the end of May 2024. Anything from a private apartment to a private room in a shared flat or within a family home would be perfectly fine for me! My budget would have to be 800/month max but I know that prices in Dublin are generally quite high.
I have lived in shared flats for the past 4 years and have also stayed with a host family for a year at 16. I know what it means to respect personal space, clean up after myself and communicate well so that everyone can feel comfortable around each other. Among plenty other things I enjoy anything in the kitchen as well as a good cup of coffee, I'm easy going, I don't smoke and I appreciate a good balance of taking care of myself and getting things done together (:

I genuinely appreciate any type of help in finding a place to stay so that I'll have the chance to come to Dublin in September and finish my master as well as get to know the life in Dublin that I've heard so much about already!
I'll gladly get together over facetime or come to Dublin in late August to talk things over and get to know each other, too (:

With all this said, I hope I am not overstepping by posting this in here and am very grateful to anyone with any leads - Any help is highly appreciated!!!

All the best
Hannah

You could also post on WIWIKAU they have a Facebook group and a website for parents and students, the initials stand for What I Wish I Knew About University.
