This is a weird one but I’m in a rut and don’t know what to do next.
I worked part time as a law lecturer alongside practising as a barrister for several years until my son died.
I then went full time lecturing and, in need of a focus in my life, began volunteering abroad. I’ve volunteered in schools, assisted with field work up mountains and in jungles and worked with wildlife. I’m happiest when travelling, busying myself amongst nature and wildlife.
During lockdown, my husband left me. He was the last thing keeping me tied to the UK.
Now I want to go and enjoy my life. I’d like to turn my volunteering into a job but the trouble is, my qualifications are irrelevant.
I have a full practising certificate that is only relevant to England and Wales.
I teach civil law, again largely irrelevant.
I have a degree and LLM. No phd.
What can I do?
