Academic interviews - Open University - any advice?

Hi there,

I've got two interviews in the next couple of weeks to tutor a few modules with the Open University. I have only ever had one academic interview and it didn't go great. Just wondering whether anyone here has any experience of interviewing for the OU's associate lecturer roles, in the humanities particularly? Or whether anyone has any more general tried and tested academic interview tips/advice? Am very nervous...

Thanks in advance!

read the job spec very carefully. most questions will probably be closely related to the job spec. e.g. job spec says 'create engaging teaching for online & in person classes' and a question might be 'how would you create engaging teaching materials for online classes?' (not always so close, but that is the idea).
