help! storyboarding!

I'm new to HE and I've been asked to "storyboard" an online lesson I'll be delivering (PPT, videos etc).

I've never done story boarding before, what is it, how do I do it, is there an example template? Or is it just writing down what I am going to do? Manager is on leave now. I thought it would be simple but now I'm thinking maybe not?

I have never been asked to storyboard a session not have I done it for my own purposes. I have worked in an industry that uses them but a quick Google reveals this is now a term used in e learning.
