probationary periods and covid

what are your universities doing re: probationary periods where the individual has started during covid and probation ends during covid?

As Covid could impact performance if, for example, you have others at home also WFH or home schooling, and you are not able to engage with colleagues or students in person.

I'm in my probationary period but can't see anything about how Covid 19 will be taken into account.

We're following the probationary process with new starters as normal.

My university has been very unclear about how performance will be managed during Covid. There's the top line spiel about looking after ourselves and eachother but the reality is a lot of pressure which some are struggling to manage. I'm not really sure what would happen if performance becomes a major issue at this time?
