Working at UCLan

I've potentially been offered a job as an SL at UCLan. I've visited it briefly and the facilities seem decent but I was wondering if there are any staff on here who could answer a few questions?

I'm currently at a very traditional RG uni but don't really fit with the culture there and am looking for a change but don't want to jump out of the frying pan into the fire as there are lots of good things about my current job.

Are there any UCLan faculty here?
Ideally in the school of biomedical sciences.

I was an EE there until this academic year. My impression was that they had great facilities, lots of cash but did flog their academic staff quite hard even in pre-Covid times. Very much a business first and university second
