Camera not working on Blackboard Collaborate

Sorry, I've asked some colleagues and they're all confused.

My laptop camera used to work so when I was doing online lectures and now it isn't. When I hover over the "share camera" button I get what looks like a no entry sign.

I've googled and made sure my camera permissions are set to "allow" which they are. My drivers are all up to date.

Has anyone else had this?

Yes I had this. I found somewhere in google a switch had been switched to deny access to the camera. I am sorry I can’t be more helpful but explore the settings in google. I can have a look tomorrow on my pc if you can’t find it.

That was my problem too. I hadn’t done anything -it just stopped working for Blackboard. Pleased it is sorted. It is these little, seemingly random, irritating things that often derail my plans.
