What are your strategies for keeping up with CFPs?

I think I need to be more proactive in this area - I'm subscribed to a few relevant university blogs / newsletters, but if I'm honest I tend to mostly just wait for CFPs to be circulated by my university. Recently though, I've seen a few journal issues and conference proceeds which I've really wished I'd submitted proposals for, but they passed me by. Just wondering what tricks I may be missing, if anyone has any.

Depends on your field. I see stuff on Twitter but mostly via discipline-based email lists, and through my membership of learned associations and scholarly societies. If I relied on stuff circulated by my university I’d never leave my town.

You need to build networks actively rather than wait for them to come to you.
