Nursing studies. Failed module

Hi mumsnet. My dd failed an exam on her module, she got 35 out of 40. Due to covid, the resit was an essay, she has got the results and only got 30%. She is currently on placement as an opt in. Does anyone know if there are any circumstances she could try it again?

She can appeal for another chance to resit given the circumstances with covid it might be granted.

I hope she can.. she passed everything else, gets good feedback from placement. She came home to isolate when uni got cancelled.

Certainly where I work there's a light touch approach to granting third submissions due to the current situation. If this isn't allowed or available I would appeal as you'd have a strong case
