Single Mum about to start Part Time Masters

Hey x
I have just applied to start a Masters course in January and from what I can see I am only entitled to one full loan from Student Finance. This is to cover my tuition fees aswel as anything else... so study books, anything else related to my study AND childcare. I believe there is access to funding I can apply for directly to the university but I cant apply for that until I begin the course itself.
I am having a little stress about funding childcare! I am wondering if anyone knows anything else I will be entitled too.
Universal Credit have said I cant apply for childcare through them for studying part time and Student Finance have also said the same... anyone any other advice or ideas?
Thank you in Advance x Grin

I don't know anything about student finance for this, but have you looked for bursaries/grants for your specific subject? Sometimes there are really peculiar/specific amounts of money you can apply for. For example, if you can relate anything you do to medicine/medical humanities, the Wellcome Trust is always worth a look. Sometimes there are local bursaries too.

(And also, good luck!)
