Hi all. Could you please help me to find good independent primary school for my child? I am literally begging for help... I was planning to move to America but it appears that I will stay in London for another couple of years... My DH put me in this situation last minute... I ended up with not really good school for my child as I even wasn't here during the admission process... What are the best academically focused schools in London? I called a couple of schools, like St Paul's Cathedral and I have been informed that the entry for 4+ years starts in 2022... Maybe I should approach them again and provide some more details...

I was looking at:

St Paul's Cathedral
Blackheath
Colfe's Junior School
St Dunstan's
Heath House
Pointer
Alleyn's Junior
Dulwich
Gatehouse
St Olave's
Babington House

How would you put these schools in order.
Any thoughts will be much appreciated.
Thanks in advance.

HI there, you need to search for the primary education board. This section is for university academics and doesn’t get that much traffic.

Good luck with your hunt (personally, having had a child do this, now very happily studying a tough STEM subject at university, I’d go for the one closest to home so long as it has a decent Ofsted and a happy vibe, and not worry too much about academics for primary!)
