Can I bug admissions tutor again yet?

Hi, sorry if this is the wrong place to ask. I'm looking at retraining as a mature student but don't know if my qualifications are enough. I phoned the admissions tutor and got through to his secretary who said he was interviewing that day and I should email instead. This was early last week and I haven't had a reply.

I know he's probably super busy so I don't want to keep bugging him. So I was wondering what's a reasonable length of time to leave it before following up?

Would you be pissed off if somebody emailed you and then phoned again / sent another email a week later? If I don't match the entry requirements then it's obviously something I need to work on so the sooner I hear the better.

I would say this is a perfect reasonable time to follow up - I have a three day rule so give it another try!

Send the email. Ask for a call.

If you emailed me, it probably got lost in the other 200 emails, including dozens of ads for jobs in Alabama (I don't live in the US) and many notices for research seminars about Estonian verbs (I'm not in modern languages). I think it's fine to email again. It can sometimes get a bit intense.

Presumably the admissions tutor wants to admit people, so would be happy to hear from you again.
