I have a pile of reading to do this summer but printed books are completely inaccessible to me because of my terrible reading memory. So, I'm looking into getting a 'portable scanner pen'. Do any of you have experience using one? Are they as good as they sound?

Sorry, I only just saw this! And thanks for the congrats. Grin The baby is 11 weeks and the PhD is coming up for three, doesn't time fly!

I'm afraid I don't have any experience - I'm totally un-tecchy. I wonder if main MN would be better. I bet there are parents of dyslexic children who'd have got into them.
