Quick question about references

If I'm writing a reference for an (excellent) MA candidate who is dyslexic, and the rubric asks about their ability to communicate: should I mention this or not? I'm wondering if I should because their grammar and punctuation are sometimes a bit below standard, but then I wondered if it would be discriminatory (or if they would have mentioned it somewhere else on their application, so I wouldn't need to). Thanks for any advice on this.

I would focus on what they do well - content and construction of written work, oral presentation, working in multidisciplinary groups and so on. I would definitely not mention dyslexia--it is up to the candidate to disclose.

Thank you, getyourgeek - I will do that.
