Kelloggs 2-for-1 ticket vouchers to Thorpe Park - why £64 instead of £42?

Hi All,

I'm trying to use a Kelloggs 2-for-1 voucher to book 2 adult tickets for the price of 1 for one of the half term week days at Thorpe Park. The actual price of an adult ticket on the Thorpe Park website for that day is £42, but if I try to book it through the link provided on the Kelloggs pack using the bar code, it is charging me £64 for one adult ticket.

Had anyone managed to use the 2-for-1 vouchers and pay the normal price of an adult ticket of £42 rather than £64?

The title should say £64 instead of £42 😂

Because you have to pay the gate price which is £64 not the book in advance price of £42

Ahh I see, but they say you have to book it in advance so I assume I still have to pre-book it but pay the gate price? Very annoying

Yeah it’s almost false advertising really. Yes you do get a free ticket, but the one you pay for is almost twice as much as the in advance price which anyone can get anyway - and I don’t think anyone actually turns up and pays full price so that price is literally only there so that these deals aren’t as good as they seem.

Yes, annoyingly that’s how most of the “offers” work. Similarly if you use Tesco vouchers they have to be used against the full on the door price, not the online booking price.

Thank you all! False advertising especially if you manage to go for the advanced weekday price of £34
