I need a Blue Kangaroo Toy

Hi

I have a 5 year old daughter who loves blue kangaroo, she is so desperate for one and I cannot find one anywhere. Is there anyone who has one who does not need it any more or know of where I can get one? It would be greatly appreciated.

I have tried amazon and contacted the 2 sellers but it is only the book they are selling and it does not include a toy. Am still looking every day on internet to try and find one. Thanks fo your help.

There just aren't any, I have searched high and low too (speaking as the mother of another Blue Kangaroo fan!).
I ended up sewing one myself out of a blue t-shirt from a charity shop [polishes halo]. Do you have anyone who could sew or knit one for you? It was really easy, I am crap at crafts.

I was going to suggest maybe you could make one if the Amazon sellers didn't have one but geekgirl beat me to it.

My sister works for a large highstreet bookseller. I could see if she could fine one maybe?

Thanks for all your help. Will try and make one (sewing not too good though!), but am trawling charity shops tomorrow just in case.

I asked my sister for you. She says that if Amazon don't have it then it is likely out of print now. She will have a look to see if they have one in stock or can get one for you though...

Sister has checked company wide for you (and it's a big company - Think large high street bookstore, begins with a W but not Smiths) and says they have never stocked Blue Kangaroo at all so nowhere will have any in stock.

She also checked with the publishers for you and they have said that the set is definitely out of print and they have no plans to re-issue it - sorry

She suggests you could try WHSmiths who might have stocked it once and still have some somewhere. Or The Works who specialise in publisher end of lines or maybe even keep checking Ebay to see if any come up?

You could always let your DD help you make it? When he's all done and ready for stuffing, cut out a heart from red felt then both kiss it and put it inside before you stitch him up.

Hi, I saw a girl at my dd's school with a knitted Blue Kangaroo. She got it from ETSY from this seller

It doesn't look like she has any now old listing but I am sure she could rustle one up.
