'as she struggles with heavy shopping bags'

words fail me

She does look really good. I like her watch.

Her arm looks quite sort of tensed carrying the bags (unless it's just permanently like that because she is so toned)

She's not stressed or struggling, just a bit tired and hot

UnquietDad · 24/06/2010 17:25

You'd think she'd pay someone to do all that so she can sit around on her arse all day. I mean, I would if I was living off Jamie's money. Is there any point being the spongeing wife of a millionaire twat chef if you don't have People?

Aitch · 24/06/2010 17:32

i don't think she tries to attract this attention, tbh. i see the point of going after wags etc if that's your thing, but she really seems to try to stay in the background.

there was a quote, once, from jamie oliver, where he said that for as long as as he'd known her all she wanted to be was a mother. i think that's lovely, tbh it's kind of all i've ever wanted to be as well, i just have to work to pay the mortgage.

Those are not heavy shopping bags. Bloody hell.

FabIsGettingFit · 24/06/2010 18:14

UnquietDad - "sponging"?

traceybath · 24/06/2010 18:16

I agree with Aitch - thought how lovely she looked.

Fab - oh, sorry, did I spell it wrong? (Whistles innocently.)

LadyBiscuit · 24/06/2010 20:17

I should think so Riven. A pregnant celebrity woman in need is far more imporant

I'm not taking the piss out of her. She is very nice by all accounts but the DM is really scraping the barrel with this

FabIsGettingFit · 24/06/2010 20:31

UD - you are annoying. Are you my ex?

UnquietDad · 24/06/2010 21:20

I think I'd probably ave noticed.

purpleduck · 24/06/2010 21:49

Well - she is hardly doing anything at all is she? Raising 3 kids while Jamie is off saving the world with his pepper grinders.

Sounds like sponging to me.

Honestly UQD.

UnquietDad · 24/06/2010 22:41

I consider myself chastised. I shall go off and read her book all about how to be a perfect parent when you have a bankrolling hubby, cleaner, gardener, nanny, stylist etc. I'm sure I will Learn The Error Of My Ways.

UD - Do you know she has all that help? And what does it matter if she does?

I guess you think I am a sponger too as I stay at home looking after my children while my husband works.

Well, quite. Me too!

BeenBeta · 25/06/2010 09:39

UQD - I have been sponging off my wife for years. You should give it a try.

I'm all for Equality me.

UnquietDad · 25/06/2010 12:43

Unfortunately, I rather enjoy having a career of sorts!

potplant · 25/06/2010 14:45

Me too Riven.

I quite like her. She was on one of his shows, I think the Italy one and he was going on about something and she give him such a 'you're such a knob' look. Then she had a big sulky strop in the back of a taxi. My kind of girl!

  • although I didn't know she had written a 'how to be perfect like me' book. I might have to move her down my list of girl crushes.
BialystockandBloom · 25/06/2010 15:00

Oh the poor lamb, what a struggle her life is.

Lol @ "staying in the background" - hasn't she launched her own brand of books on cupcakes or something?

Interesting to see her hubby is planning on setting up an independent school for a C4 doc. Well qualified to do so I'm sure
