Food for a christening party

We are getting M&S order online, collect from store food. However it was mainly going to be sandwiches etc, and they need eating on the day.
The christening is at 10.30 and M&S is 20/25 mins away. So that means there's no way we can collect the food and get it all in the fridge before the service.
If we go after the service that means one of us will be out for an hour.

We canc collect the day before, but then we have to change the type of buffet, as we can't really have the sandwiches

Any obvious solutions I've overlooked?

Can a neighbour/colleague pick them up for you for a small reward (chocs, bottle of wine)?

Thanks for replying
I'd feel cheeky asking really
Plus they'd need to balance them carefully in the car

Would Waitrose deliver in your area?

What about Preta Manger - any use to you?
