I've had my car stolen along with 3 car seats, a twin and single buggy. I'm hoping to call as many places as i can that pay cash for baby items in the hope i can track them down... Feel like i've got to do something. ↲if you know of anywhere could you let me know numbers please... I'm in the south east area ↲TIA

sorry to hear that
dont forget ebay

MrsWobbleTheWaitress · 28/05/2010 07:54

Aren't the police more likely to be able to track them down? And won't they be covered by your insurance?

EasilyConfusedIndith · 28/05/2010 08:09

As MrsWobble said what about insurance? Tbh I wouldn't touch the carseats even if you did spot them somewhere, what if they've crashed your car? The seats could then be unsafe.

StealthPolarBear · 28/05/2010 08:15

i know but could you resist
especially if they'#re on ebay for collection only

StealthPolarBear · 28/05/2010 08:15

why are you easily confused?

BelleDameSansMerci · 28/05/2010 08:16

When I wrote my car off, the car seat was allegedly covered but it turned out only up to £100. The seat cost nearly £200. I'm not sure that many insurers do actually cover the full cost of carseats.

Good luck, jerin

EasilyConfusedIndith · 28/05/2010 08:27

I kept seeing myself on threads and not realising it was me, I'm clearly not made for name changes. That and I'm easily confused as a general rule.

jerin · 28/05/2010 08:29

exactly- insurance covers £100 when seats each nearer £200. Not to mention buggies. More insurance cover on other car but had taken them out to make room to collect family from airport. ↲Two of the car seats used just twice. Not sure as time goes on i'd want them back but just so annoyed...

Back where I grew up there was a shop that was well known for turning up stolen goods. It was pretty common for people to go there and buy their stuff back

My bike was taken from the garage once and a couple of months later I started seeing it around the village. Never got up the courage to ask the very nice looking lady where she got it from though.

EasilyConfusedIndith · 28/05/2010 08:30

That's annoying jerin
