Can I save a 'chat' on facebook?

Do you mean the little pop up chat window at the bottom of the screen? I don't think it saves at all, the only way to do it is to select all of the text and copy and paste it into a notepad or word document.

If you mean something else (comments on walls etc) then it does save in that you can access it easily at a later time just by going back to the person's wall.
