WWYD - shall I keep the free gift or give it to my CM?

I ordered a pedicure gift voucher for my CM's birthday present at a local beauty salon. The bloke I spoke to took money off my credit card but didn't send out the voucher so it didn't arrive in time for my CM's birthday. I rang up and spoke to someone different who sent it out the next day registered post. She included another voucher for a facial as an apology. So my dilemma is this - shall I give both vouchers to my CM? Or keep the facial one for myself? It's the sort of thing I would never spend money on myself so I'm tempted to indulge.

I do like my CM - she's a bit bossy sometimes (is an older lady) but is very flexible around times etc and has been looking after my DS for 18 months or so and always buys him a birthday/xmas present. WWYD??

Why should you give it to your cm?

KiwiKat · 24/04/2010 14:34

Neither is the 'right' answer, so you can enjoy it yourself, or enjoy passing it on.

If you used a credit card that gave you points or cashback you wouldn't give these to the CM would you? This is just a transactional perk, much like the mini box of chocs sometimes given away with the big box!

Oh keep it for yourself

Okay I am persuaded Apparently it's a good thing to do before a night out. Now I just need to get one of those sorted

Do it the day or 2 before as it can bring spots out and you don't want those on your night out.

Cheers for the advice fab. I think the next proper night out is going to happen in ... don't know - I shall have to organise something to make the most of it (which will cost more than the bloody free facial )
