Would you cheer? Cry? post under here instead?

OP posts:

Chat would be full of aibu posts!

thighsmadeofcheddar · 14/04/2010 17:52

Agree with threeblonde, all of them would appear in chat.

GrimmaTheNome · 14/04/2010 18:20

Just wondering really, prompted by the thread wishing we didn't have AIBU, why more posts which really want advice rather than a fight don't get put under here.

OP posts:
scurryfunge · 14/04/2010 18:22

I think people would post a burning question/request for advice under anything and would find a suitable category to fit, regardless.

Glad you noticed, I did it for you really

Aaah, I'm touched in the head

Fliight · 14/04/2010 18:35

I don't think most people who use it currently would be ARSED to write 'Am I Being Unreasonable...' at the front of their posts. But then they would just say 'AIBU' instead, sadly.

It's a lose-lose isn't it.

Uriel · 14/04/2010 18:37

It'd go back to how it was - people using Am I being unreasonable? in their thread title.

AnyFucker · 14/04/2010 18:38

wellll < thinks >

then I would be blunt and nasty absolutely everywhere

GrimmaTheNome · 14/04/2010 19:06

Quite so, AF.
So - if you don't lik AIBU, hide it andpost here (or elsewhere as apt).
If you do like AIBU, carry on knowing the sensitive souls can avoid it.

OP posts:
AnyFucker · 14/04/2010 19:08

and that is not an empty threat < narrows eyes >

bobbiewickham · 14/04/2010 19:14

I'd rant at my reflection in shopping centre windows, while swigging from a can of Special Brew.

AnyFucker · 14/04/2010 19:16

Tennents Pilsner would also suffice

bobbiewickham · 14/04/2010 19:19

Come on, AF, have you no class?

Jeez.

AnyFucker · 14/04/2010 19:50

probably not

Swanky · 15/04/2010 09:54

use here - for most things I guess, I only just found it today

redroof · 16/04/2010 18:58

Right now, I'd jump for joy! I do enjoy a good debate, but it seems there is a thundercloud lingering over that board causing unreasonably acerbic responses. (Even if the OP is being perfectly reasonable)

I'm avoiding those four words for the time being. Even a fleeting glimpse would send me rushing for a cold flannel I should imagine. All the corrosive unreasonableness leads me to sarcasm, or a fiery head.

FabIsGoingToGetFit · 16/04/2010 19:01

I hate the way AIBU is now. Used for really stupid things so I would be happy for it to go.

tethersend · 16/04/2010 19:06

I would be a veritable Eyjafjallajoekull of rage, erupting all over MN and grounding all other topics.

ThisIsSpatchcocked · 16/04/2010 19:11

Re the OP...I think they would just put in somewhere else, but it might be a bit more filtered? As in, soem things might go in their actual topic?? Not sure really.
