So- DH and I and 1 DC were in local pub for meal, we had a sticker book for DC to get on with and keep them sat at table. Another child known to DC came over and started demanding a sticker, they were given one, a few mins later they returned with the sticker crumpled up and demanded another one. DC by now doesn't want to give them any more.

WWYD?

It continued, after being reluctantly given 2nd sticker, guess what, they came back again for 3rd try again with crumpled up previous sticker in hand.

again WWYD?

I would say 'no, you have had two, and these belong to DS'.

I would probably say "Will you just fuck RIGHT off please leave us alone."

I'd have said no after the first one was 'returned'. A simple "no, little uni isn't going to give you any more" is enough.

FAiry nuff. pretty much what you guys recon should happen is what happened.
3rd sticker was not given, I stuck up for my DC choice of not giving away another one, other child burst in to tears and was consoled by a friend of its mother.

I suspect my DC will spend a chunk of their life having to stand their ground in face of this other childs demands and opinions. They are at preschool together and one can already see which children consider them selves to be Alpha.
