Please if anyone could help, I would be truly grateful. My daughter has lost her 'Mr Duck', the problem is that it came from her older sister who is now 11. It was a funny little fellow. He was lemon/light yellow, soft velour and flat with a tiny tuft of hair and had a small green bow tie under his chin. He couldn't sit up, he would just lie flat. He was stuffed, but not fat. Quite plain looking, but much loved. He was a Mothercare brand. I have contacted Mothercare, and they cannot help me. Does anyone know the toy I am trying to describe, or would anyone know where I can find a replacement. It is regularly washed, so having a special smell is not a problem. Please, any ideas grateful. Or if you happen to have one in your attic, even better. Thank you. What a brilliant idea is Toys Reunited!

Hi there, I feel your pain, it was horrible when ds2 lost his 'bunny', fortunately for us we got it back after a few days.

Have you had a look on ebay for one? Its a bit of a nightmare this time of year as everyone seems to be selling ducks for easter, but might be worth a try using different search criteria. I've now managed to buy two spare 'bunnies' off ebay and it was a really rare denim rabbit toy that was end of line in the only shop that sold them when we got it back in 2004.

Any chance you could post a photo so we can see exactly what it looked like?

I have had a quick look for you. Was it anything like this sort of thing?

Thank you for that. I have checked e-bay and yes there are a lot of ducks on there! I will try to get my hands on a photo, but funny enough i don't think I actually have one. The duck you found is way furrier than Mr Duck. He was just soft velour, in a really light lemon colour. I'm glad you got a couple of back up bunnies. I will keep looking.
