Hello

Something has been playing on my mind for a couple of weeks so thought I'd ask you lot for a bit of advice.

Two weeks ago I went to get petrol at our local petrol station. I don't know the young man that works in there, just use the same station enough for some friendly chit-chat whilst he processes my payment. Anyway, this night he says he's really tired so I responded with something like "you must be looking forward to getting to bed after your shift". He replied with "nah, I'm going to go to the pub". I said "great idea, why not" and thought that was the end of it. Then he said "yeah, I do that a lot, go over the pub after here then drive home". I was shocked, but didn't know what to say so I said "that's very naughty, you'd better hope you don't get the police catching you". To which he replied "nah, they never do, I've had them behind me plenty of times after i've been in the pub and they don't know... it's cos I know how to drive properly".

Do you think it was just bravado talking? Trying to impress? From the way he was talking it didn't sound made up. Its really bothering me. But there's nothing anyone can do without proof is there?

no there isnt. my neighbour is banned for a year...but she drives. she was banned for drug driving and nearly hit my son the other day. i called non emer number and gave her registration, which goes into their equipment

just hope she's caught soon...she is so blase about it. and she knows that we know she's banned. it was us that got her banned in first place as she rammed our car under the influence,so we called police.

just waiting for her to do it again....i feel tempted to call police about an 'alleged' near miss, just to get her caught!!!!
