Any way of stopping a friend from using my photos as their profile pictures?

Am I right in thinking that there is no way of stopping FB friends from tagging my photos or appropriating said photos for their profile pictures?

One of my "friends" keeps tagging herself as my DS so she can have the photos appear on her photo pages (I restrict all my photos to "Only friends"). I always remove the tags as soon as I see she's done them but cannot seem to stop her using my photos as her profile pic. E.g. her current profile pic is my DS dressed up for his nursery nativity play.

Only thing I can think of is to hide my new postings from this friend (would this work?). Or, of course, to delete her as a friend. She isn't a friend; she's DH's cousin who I've met only once (she lives abroad) but this might cause wider family ructions at some point in the future .

Have you actually asked her to stop?

Right.. go into your account settings, privacy settings and go to edit options for photo albums.

Where it says show only friends etc, at the bottom it says customize.

Here you can block individual people from seeing any pics you put up.

What personal clown says. It is very rude of her to do this without asking you.

I know it's rude but, no, I haven't asked her to stop. I should do, I know, but the ensuing ramifications really would not be good (which is also why I haven't just "de-friended" her as I am sorely tempted to do). Anyway, will do as you explain, PersonalClown.
