Can you stop someone sending messages?

Someone I don't wish to hear from keeps sending me messages on Facebook. Is there some way of barring them so they stop cluttering my inbox?

You can block them.

I did this last week, will be under settings, but not sure how to get on settings atm with fb just changing.

I think you should be able to go onto the persons profile and there will be ab option under their profile picture that says "Block this person" I will go and check!!!

Settings > privacy settings > block list.

Enter their full name or email address, that'll sort it.

Yep i've just had a look, if you go to the persons profile it says under their profile pic "report/block this person.
