hi all not been in here for a while. I have lost my way a bit in FV recently just don't seem to have the time to look after crops (had to go have a baby didn't I) am getting into Frontierville now.

Ok...I need some advice on Frontierville. How the heck are you meant to get the land cleared when you have a limited amount of energy and no money/food to buy more?? I go to all my neighbour's homesteads and that buys me a little energy, but generally, I am clearing the same areas day after day and it's driving me loopy! Am I missing something?

Fronierville is really playing up for me as I have lost yet another nearly completed quest

Anniebeansmum - I don't clear mine everyday only if I have spare energy iyswim.

Also I don't feed my animals everyday (don't ring RSPCA!!) only if relevant for quests or high in energy like horses.

I also tend to go for maninly long crops like peanuts to get more money/food but time it so some is ripe each day iyswim

I have just got the frontierville toolbar which is fab It tells you when your crops are ready, how many gifts, visitors, energy you have.

Also you get a bonus every 8hrs which is 1 horseshoe and 3 energy thingies

I would love the FV toolbar simpson, but my DH would uninstall it!! Apparently, this is his computer as opposed to ours.

I'll persevere with FV, but I think I'm approaching my boredom level.

AnnieBeansMum It doesn't take any energy to plant crops, so when you clear some land, try to plant crops straight away, anything will do.
It does take a while to get into it to begin with, but you get there

I don't have any money to plant crops. I'm level 14 and feeling like my homestead should be looking a little better by now. May just give up - getting bored of it anyway.

Oh dear. It take me a ouple of go's of leaving it and then coming back.
Nevermind, these things do get a bot boring after a while anyway, it's why I had to stop playing farmVille, Treasure Mania, Social City, and God knows how many others!

I'm giving up on FrontierVille. I love it, but I can't always get on every day and it now looks like a forest!! Anyone who is my friend (first name Summer), please feel free to clear EVERYTHING!! :)

So I am hooked on something new....Gourmet Ranch. It's sort of a cross between farmville and cafe world. You grow all your own crops and livestock and then use them to run your cafe. It's pretty cool, but I desperately need neighbours. Anyone want to give it a go with me??

Ok...I've just had a last run at Frontierville....it is so overgrown that I HAVE LOST MY CHILD!! Horrible horrible mother...tsk...

Well I gave up on frontierville for all of 2 days

TBH it was because it was taking sooo long to load and then I could not get into the marketplace etc...

But it seems to be fixed now

simpson - mine has been working fine - but I can't see any FTV posts on the feed

Can see the posts on the feed although there do seem to be less than usual

TBH I am wondering if the reason I have problems with games is because of my lap top which is a tad old I get constant egg timers etc when trying to play games
