Silly question probably but when people comment on 'hatch an egg' and they say pink cottage or something - how come I only get chickens?

Mostly it is chickens unfortunately. I have hatched dozens of eggs but only got anything interesting a handful of times.

Having said that, I think that unusual things are becoming more frequent so hang in there and you will probably get something good soon.

I have just got a centipede (only tiny I know) but finished a collection with it so got XP points and fuel too

Do you think they are putting more interesting things in the eggs too? I am sure they never used to put unchicken related items in.

Or maybe I was never lucky before.

But a centipede is good if you need one. I have loads. Can't find a stick insect for love nor money though. (Well I do have one at the moment but saving it for multiple collection postings later - by multiple I mean probably 2).

The other that rarely comes up for me is the swallowtailed butterfly.

Is it just me or is anybody else a bit bored of gold already?

Agree though, am getting bored with gold already and its not even been 24hrs

I'm also bored with gold - too similar to the Valentines and nothing worth having on offer either (not with the number I've got, at any rate) - but will carry on collecting until I see what the top reward is (hopefully something a bit more farm-related than an Eiffel tower!).

Just had a weird groundhog day. After all my over excitement earlier I put the children to bed and stuff (falling asleep with DS2 in the process) and came back here only to find my pumpkins unharvested and my collections unposted.

Have redone everything although without fanfare in case it happened again or refused to post! So, some of you may well have profitted twice from the same collections. I didn't, mind you, my fuel was back to where it was earlier this afternoon and the original mastery sign had disappeared. Don't know about the money and the XPs because I don't keep that close an eye on them!

Am hoping that it doesnt happen again! I thought I had got rid of pumpkins and there they were, back again.

Weird but then I think it has been a bit of a funny old day all round on FB, not to mention MN and their earlier crash.

I have friend requests from SE, KT and GL - anyone on here? Am sure they are all MNers but it is nice to know who everyone is.

If they are who I think they are, SE is 3cutedarlings (further up the thread), KT isn't a MNer but is friends with (or a friend of a friend of) a MNer and I'm not sure whether GL is or not - I had a friend request from her and we had a mutual friend who's a MNer.

bit bored of gold, too, though seem to be compelled to pick it up off the feed. Far preferring mystery gifts at the moment which have actually had some surprises in recently, not just those endless topiaries....

Pol, a number of my 'MN' neighbours approached me, basically saying 'we've got X MN/FV friends in common, lets be neighbours' - and I've done the same the other way round; not everything comes through this page. Then some MNers have introduced friends, husbands, etc.. and some people I only know are part of 'this' FV gang; not quite sure if they are MNers or not!

oh and - FV is driving me crazy with its acting up and having to keep redoing things; I am not very impressed by its silly tool bar - which keeps offering me bonuses which turn out to have expired (mind, when I do get them, they seem to have no relationship to anything then on the feed - don't understand); and if you click on a gold feed too late, it says there isn't "anymore" left, which REALLY bugs me

How's that for a vent??
