They get paid?!, God how naive am I? I thought they just got invites and freebies.

They're all money-grabbing, freebie-grabbing parasites

Well, I guess it is all part of their "work" IYSWIM. If people are willing to pay them, you can't blame them in many ways can you? The fashion houses will pay because it is good publicity for them to have an A list celeb interested and present.
