but please may I be granted special dispensation when linking to this

I have been sitting with my mouth open for several minutes trying to compute the absolute awfulness.

oh, come on. Someone must find it amusing...

It is a bit grim but there are ways of saying it without using 'chav'. Anyhoo according to DS#1 chav is a fashion trend like goth or emo. To do with sports wear and spiky hair. Not sure where they stand on cars.

I think the word 'hideous' would do it

MmeLindt · 22/01/2010 12:05

Hideous is good. I am with you on hideous.

SerenityNowAKABleh · 22/01/2010 12:54

I quite like it

hf128219 · 22/01/2010 12:56

That is well wicked.

OrmRenewed · 22/01/2010 12:59

Hmmm 'wicked'. Now I take it you don't mean that in the sense of evil and wrong hf? >

hf128219 · 22/01/2010 13:04

I am not young! But I do think it is cool.

rubyslippers · 22/01/2010 13:05

you would never lose it in a carpark

mrsmharket · 22/01/2010 13:06

agree with hideous

MmeLindt · 22/01/2010 13:07

True, it is easy to locate. Might be a good idea to keep your sunglasses on at all times though.

It would get tongues wagging on the school run for sure.

GetOrfMoiLand · 22/01/2010 13:15

That is well wicked

PollyTechnique · 22/01/2010 13:34

Very visible, therefore pretty theft-proof.

MaggieTaSeFuar · 27/01/2010 17:12

ha ha! i like it! it's much nicer than a 1999 ford ka. swap?

Poledra · 27/01/2010 17:14

Sorry, I have to return to the slang of my yoof to get the word to describe - boggin'

Cadelaide · 27/01/2010 17:14

Orm?

Is that you?

(Fondly remembers UCM thread...)

EleanoraBuntingCupcake · 27/01/2010 17:14

tha's sick

thedollshouse · 27/01/2010 17:25

Oh dear. What was he thinking? .

I think the term "chav" is acceptable when refering to the z listers. It is only offensive when used to describe ordinary folk.

bronze · 27/01/2010 17:26

Thats is so vile that its almost cool
