Not wanting to make any comment other than:

It must feel really wierd to have been accused of any paedophillic prosecutable thing so publicly and then to be.... trotting along on a red carpet like nothing had happened. No big mates hugging you in an overly-effusive fashion to indicate that you hadn't done anything? Just a sad lack of back slapping.

I don't know where I am going with this but I think it has something to do with how we are prepared to call ugly working class people paedophiles rather than well educated, nice people who have made us laugh rather hard in the past.
