I had planned to visit my sister who lives near Eastbourne tomorrow. I live north of London. My DP thinks I should not go due to roads and weather. I still plan to go as it seems to be warming up tomorrow. Do you think I am mad?

will you have children with you? I wouldn't go if I did, however would probably risk it alone if I hadn't seen my sister for ages.

I live not that far from Eastbourne and our ice has melted now. So it depends how the roads are up by you really - as it'll be worse your end of the journey.

yes i'd do it, the main roads are absolutely fine
i drove down to brighton today and roads were perfectly clear.
the m25 is sure to be fine and south of that it's really not so bad

Yep, we are sending MiL home that way tomorrow - today was hideous, but tomorrow is your best bet.
