DH and I have two DC under 3 and have decided that due to wanting better quality of life (need a garden!) that we are now ready after 10yrs in London, to move further out.
If you have done this or are further ahead in your own research, please tell me where I should be looking in the South West commuter belt? (Grandparents on M4 and Somerset so unwilling to go further east than Redhill)
Requirements:
*Commutable by overland train to Waterloo (DH will continue to work but I am planning to become SAHM)
*Nice area, with likeminded exLondonites (we are currently in SW6 and love the family community here), v keen on pretty villages within close proximity of larger market towns.
*Good schools - please suggest them by name (I have no clue), for preschool and more long term thoughts?!
Any tips, or thoughts or general chat on the subject much appreciated. My aim is to get out in six months time and we'll be fussy about the actual house so it would be good to get an idea of towns/villages to check out.
