Can I set it so that only she can't see my farmville updates?

Haha your post made me laugh!! My brother and sister are totally obsessed with farmville, and it always tells me what they have been upto. Is it really that great? Why don't you want her to see? TBH don't think you can set fb settings so that just one person can't see your updates. I think you have to set it so nobody can see those kind of updates at all. I just don't accept disapproving relatives as friends in the first place, and tell them i don't use my facebook very often ;).

Hmmm.....well not accepting her will give her the hump - she takes offence at things very easily - and she won't 'get' it that I actually don't spend every waking minute at the computer, but that it is on all the time and will check it and do things as I pass etc. My DD1 and I both play farmville together, so yes, it really is that fun to us

Bugger that fancy new privacy settings aren't really that fab after all!

I think if you go to your privacy setings you can stop individual people from seeing updates I know I have blocked certain people from seeing my status and wall posts.

You can set up groups to block people from seeing things, so set up a group with just her in it

yes give her limited profile so she can't see your updates
