go on, how bad was your addiction much time were you spending on it?

thesouthsbelle · 15/11/2009 18:33

far far too much lol.

(prob about 3 hours a night, plus it would be running in the back ground when at work if the boss wasn't in as we shared a game of scrabble - not jsut me the whole office)

I deleted my account ages ago and couldn't care less tbh. I didn't use it that much, it was too complicated and no one I knew seemed to be on it at the same time as me. I also got paranoid about my mother or certain other people finding me so I asked that they deleted everything completely. Didn't email me to say it has been done though as I asked them too.

I keep saying I am going to deactivate facebook and block mumsnet- I am still yet to get round to it

I have far too many essays to write and get distracted too easily

thesouthsbelle · 15/11/2009 19:21

well the MN I managed to step away from for a good 6 months earlier in the year. FB thou i'm already having withdrawal symptoms & wanting to go n check even thou I only deactivated it at 2pm!

emailed my 2 best buds on there thou to tell them - oh and mum not bothered by anyone else.

turkey's best at Christmas anyway.

As you know, it's horrid when it's cold.
Just stick to having it with a proper roasty dinner like you oughta do

thesouthsbelle · 15/11/2009 20:22

lol. giggle that's not helping!

althou it's only one person I want to avoid in the short term - maybe I out to jsut delete them?!

I don't use mine much and hate the way it selectively doesn't bloody work - for instance I wasn't able to see any of my best friend's updates for about 2 weeks, then they all appeared at once, felt like she'd thought I was ignoring her...I would close it down (again) but want to stay on there a while as she is ill and it's important. I want to know what's going on for her.

Otherwise yes would close it in a flash. I hate facebook.

gigglewitch · 15/11/2009 21:39

tsb you can go into the privacy settings and actually block a person, rather than just delete them and they can still see whatever's public. I just block 'em completely and then they can't even find a trace of you

Don't shut your fb down, you know you'll miss it

you better be on mine, after all this campaigning I'm doing

thesouthsbelle · 16/11/2009 14:09

yeah I did that to him b4 blocked him, but unblocked again.

got shitty messages about my 'deleting' him. had a sneaky look this am but have deactivated again now. ooh hang on think my farm needs sorting - bollox.

gigglewitch · 16/11/2009 22:04

thesouthsbelle · 16/11/2009 22:05
