What's the difference between 'news feed' and 'live feed'?

i dont think there is a diffrence. the news feed is whats happening, but if you were to spend all day on the home page, you would never see what was happening hence where the live feed coms in - it used to be you have x new posts at the top of the page.

From what I can gather, news feed is kind of highlights, you don't get all your friends' updates, whereas live feed you do.

News feed is the highlights os the most popular posts (ie, ones with most comments etc) and live is as it happens.
