And I'm sitting here pretending to be busy and hoping he will just fall asleep. Can you help me wangle out of it please or just keep me entertained long enough for me to hear snoring....

It sounded like a good idea at the time. I sold myself for a cup of tea and for him to bring the washing in off the line!!! What am I to do?!?!?

ninah · 26/10/2009 23:15

ask him to decide what kind of biscuit to have with the tea ...

willitknockmyteethout · 26/10/2009 23:15

it sounds like he doesn't get one often.. in that case it could be over in seconds...
don't be a tease... do the deed...

My DH suggests eating raw chillies, then, part way through saying, theatrically, "oh no, I forgot!"

SolidGhoulBrass · 26/10/2009 23:19

Got any brandy or creme de menthe in the house? Pour yourself a small glassful and take it into the bedroom, then before you actually lock your lips round the love muscle, take a sip of the spirit and hold it in your mouth. Has a nice tingling effect on him and improves the taste experience for you.

VicarInaBooTu · 26/10/2009 23:21

You will never get a cup of tea again if you don't oblige- can't you put a nice dvd on and keep half an eye on that?

LadyEvenstarsCauldren · 26/10/2009 23:31

SGB wine works as well ...... errrr so I am told

anything fizzy is ok, use lemonade instead

BiteOfFun · 26/10/2009 23:49

Don't use mouthwash btw. It can end very badly 22:36

JustAnotherManicMummy · 26/10/2009 23:53

Cup of tea and washing off the line? I'd have held out for a little more myself... maybe a month of tea and washing?

Could you pretend and that he obviously misheard you if he thought it was one cup of tea and one lot of washing?

BiteOfFun · 27/10/2009 00:01

Does this work?

GwarchodwrPlant · 27/10/2009 10:01

Yes I sold myself short didn't I? (note to self- a hot chocolate and a bag of twiglets might be more worthwhile)

As it happened ladies DP was snoring soundly when I slunk back into bed at midnight even though in anticipation of the act I had squirted a dollop of toothpaste in my mouth as 'treat' for DP (didn't have any creme de menthe i'm afraid but nice tip!)

Thank God Dp got up late this morning and had to rush off!

Vicarinabootu- did the cat come home?
